The quarter-finals of the EFL Cup take centre stage this midweek, with Premier League newboys Hull City hosting Championship outfit Newcastle United at the KCOM Stadium on Tuesday night.

The Tigers, who drew 1-1 against West Brom on Saturday, will be hoping star man Robert Snodgrass can inspire the hosts to seal their spot in the competition’s semi-finals.

Meanwhile the Magpies, who currently sit two points clear at the top of the Championship standings, possess an influential midfielder themselves in the form of Matt Ritchie, who joined the club from AFC Bournemouth this summer.
