Manager of the Month: Chris Wilder (Northampton)

It’s been a difficult season for Northampton off the pitch but you wouldn’t have known by watching their performances on it. The Cobblers continued their impressive 2015/16 campaign by winning all four games in November, lifting them into the automatic promotion places. Town recorded narrow wins over Mansfield, Notts County and Crawley, before seeing off bottom side Yeovil 2-0. To makes things even better for supporters, Kelvin Thomas has recently completed his takeover of the club, meaning the threat of liquidation has now gone.

Player of the Month: Jay Simpson (Leyton Orient)

After an electric start to the season, Leyton Orient have found life a bit tougher over the past couple of months. but in striker Jay Simpson they still have a man firing on all cylinders. The former Arsenal man added another four goals in four November games, taking his tally to 15 for the season. He’s the fourth-tier’s leading marksman by five goals and you wouldn’t bet against the O’s being in the promotion mix if he can keep finding the back of the net.

Goal of the Month: Danny Grainger (Carlisle) – 1min 50secs
