Player of the Month – Billy Kee (Accrington Stanley)

Accrington are having a very impressive season and a lot of that is down to the partnership of Josh Windass and Billy Kee. The striker has been key to maintaining an automatic promotion push in March, with goals in wins against Newport County, Dagenham & Redbridge and Plymouth Argyle. The 25 year-old former Burton man is averaging almost a goal every two games for Stanley this season and will be vital in the final two months of a remarkable campaign.

Accrington striker Billy Kee has netted three goals in his last five league outings for John Coleman’s side, including two assists.

Manager of the Month – Darrell Clarke (Bristol Rovers)

It looked for a while as though Northampton Town, Oxford United and Plymouth had the three automatic promotion places sewn up. Yet Clarke has got Rovers playing just at the right time after sealing six wins on the bounce, scoring seventeen goals and closing the gap on the top three. A defeat to Carlisle in the final match of March may have halted their progress very slightly, but the Gas have been very much the league’s form side and are in a great position to change divisions for the third season running.
