Bristol Rovers moved to within two points off the play-off places with a crushing 3-0 win over promotion rivals Wycombe.

Wanderers could have leapt into the top-seven, but were taken apart by Matt Taylor’s second half treble.

The Pirates are up to 10th and are now level on points with Gareth Ainsworth’s side.

Elsewhere, Dagenham and Redbridge remain in trouble at the wrong end of the table after losing 1-0 away at Morecambe.

Paul Mullin scored the game’s only goal as the Shrimps move up to 13th and just five points outside the play-offs.

Daggers, who have won just two of their opening 20 league matches, remain just one point above the relegation zone.
