Northampton’s winning streak in League Two came to an end when they drew 0-0 with Hartlepool as they failed to win their 11 successive league match. Pool were the better side on the day, but failed to find the net, although they are now two points clear of the relegation zone.

Plymouth’s slim chances of winning the league were boosted as they beat Notts County 1-0 to reduce Northampton’s lead at the top of the bale to ten points. Graham Carey scored the winner as he applied the finish to Gregg Wylde’s cross.

Striker Danny Hylton bagged his tenth goal in all competitions this season when he opened the scoring for Oxford at Wimbledon.

Oxford are now five points ahead of fourth placed Accrington as they beat AFC Wimbledon 2-1. Danny Hylton gave the visitors the lead, before Andy Barcham equalised for the hosts. Jordan Bowery then won the game just four minutes after he came off the bench as he ran from the halfway line before finding the back of the net.

Yeovil are now three points clear of the drop zone as they beat fellow strugglers Dagenham 1-0 for a vital three points. Brandan Goodship netted the game’s only goal when he latched onto Scott Laird’s brilliantly timed pass.

Barnet came from two goals behind to draw 2-2 with Accrington. Billy Kee and Matt Crooks gave the hosts a 2-0 lead, before Luke Gambin pulled one back. Then John Akinde scored a stoppage-time header to earn the Bees a much earned point.

Leyton Orient now occupy a play-off place after they defeated Crawley 2-0 as Armand Gnanduillet netted a brace. The strike grabbed his first with a lovely volley, before netting his second by converting Sean Clohessy’s cross.

Carlisle are now three points off the play-offs following their 2-1 win at Morecambe as they scored two goals in the final seven minutes. Kevin Elison gave the hosts the lead. But efforts from Charlie Wyke and Derek Asamoah turned the game around.

Newport narrowly beat Mansfield 1-0 to move eight points clear of the relegation zone. Scott Boden gave the Stags the lead four minutes from time for his fifth goal in four matches as they climb to 19th place.

Luton scored in stoppage time to beat York 3-2 in a thoroughly entertaining match. Bradley Fewster equalised twice for the hosts after Cameron McGeehan and Jack Marriott gave the visitors the lead. But a late strike from Olly Lee sealed all three points in the 92nd minute.

Portsmouth beat Cambridge 2-1 as they won for the first time in three matches to climb back up to fifth place in the league table. Marc McNulty and Adam Webster gave Pompey a 2-0 lead, before a late effort from Luke Berry.

Exeter scored two goals in the last six minutes to beat Stevenage 2-0, with striker Jayden Stockley netting both efforts. The first was a well-timed header from Lee Holmes’s cross, before adding a smart finish in stoppage time.

Wycombe beat Bristol Rovers 1-0 as they moved into the play-offs. Luke O’Nien scored with five minutes left to play when he headed home Joe Jacobson’s free-kick.
