Garry Monk could be heading for the Elland Road exit door after failing to guide Leeds United to the play offs according to the latest reports this morning.

Saturday’s 3-3 draw with Norwich City ended any hopes the Whites have of making the top six and means Leeds have taken just five points from their last seven games, a miserable run which has seen them slip down to seventh after being seemingly certain for a places in the play offs.

New co-owner Andrea Radrizzani could be set to bring in his own backroom staff for next season as Monk has failed to convince he’s the man to take Leeds up next season -despite having the backing of much of the Elland Road faithful.

Monk was named manager of the month in October and has restored a lot of pride to Leeds but their recent poor run seems to have ended any chance he had of taking charge for the next campaign.
