Leeds United gem to undergo medical ahead of £3.7m Premier League move

Championship starlet Sam Byram is reportedly set to undergo a medical at Everton ahead of his proposed £3.7m move this month, according to Alex Stevens (Football Insider).

The Premier League side, who visit defending league champions Chelsea this weekend, have seemingly won the race to sign the highly-rated Leeds United full-back ahead of the likes of Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Sunderland, Watford and West Ham United.

The 22-year-old, who has been with the Whites since he was just 12, has scored three goals in 24 appearances for Steve Evans’ side this season.

Byram, who is out of contract at Elland Road this summer, could finalise his move to Goodison Park by the end of this week.
