Leicester City have reportedly joined Liverpool in the race to sign Spain international Ignacio Camacho, according to the Daily Star.

The Premier League champions, who signed off their remarkable 2015/16 campaign with a 1-1 draw at previous winners Chelsea inside Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon, are interested in landing the Malaga star as the Foxes prepare for their UEFA Champions League campaign next term.

The 26-year-old; who made his international debut against Germany back in November 2014, but has not featured for Spain since, scored two goals in 23 appearances in all competitions for the La Liga outfit this season.

Camacho; who is also attracting interest from Spanish rivals Valencia, has three years left on his current deal, but is expected to leave Malaga this summer.

This has alerted the likes of Claudio Ranieri’s Leicester and Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, who are willing to meet the central midfielder’s £10m buy-out clause in a bid to lure him to the Premier League.
