Leicester City and Tottenham are reportedly set to go head-to-head this summer in a bid to sign Poland international Kamil Glik, according to Tuttomercatoweb.

The Premier League duo, who sit first and second in the current standings respectively, are interested in signing the Torino defender once the 2015-16 campaign has concluded this summer.

The 28-year-old, who has 37 international caps for his country and is set to star for Poland at the 2016 UEFA European Championships in France later this year, has provided two assists in 28 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A outfit so far this season.

Glik, who was formerly registered under Real Madrid’s “C” team, is also said to be attracting interest from fellow European sides Galatasaray (Turkey) and Spartak Moscow (Russia).

However the report suggests that Glik is likely to put any decision on hold until after the Euro 2016 tournament.

He still has a contract with Italian club Torino until 2020.
