Leicester City are reportedly interested in signing England international forward Theo Walcott this summer, according to the Daily Star.
The Premier League champions, who finished ten points clear of Arsenal in second spot during the 2015/16 season, have identified the Gunners winger as a potential summer signing as the Foxes prepare for their illustrious Champions League campaign next term.
The 27-year-old; who has 41 international caps for his country, but has been left out of Roy Hodgson’s preliminary 26-man squad for EURO 2016 this summer, scored nine goals and provided seven assists in all competitions for Arsene Wenger’s side this season.
Walcott, who joined Arsenal from Southampton back in January 2006 in a deal worth up to £12m depending on future appearances, is expected to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer.
However the report suggests that the England star wants to stay at the Gunners, although Premier League rivals West Ham United have also been linked with a £20m swoop for the Arsenal ace.
