Leicester City are reportedly plotting a sensational £20m swoop for Crystal Palace forward Yannick Bolasie, according to The Sun.

The Foxes, who lifted the 2015/16 Premier League trophy aloft on Saturday following their 3-1 win over Everton inside the King Power Stadium, are thought to have identified the winger as one of their top summer transfer targets as Claudio Ranieri’s men prepare for the Champions League next term.

The 26-year-old, who is a DR Congo international, has scored six goals and provided five assists in 29 appearances in all competitions for the Eagles so far this season.

Bolasie; who netted Palace’s opening goal against Watford to help send his teammates through to an FA Cup final showdown with Manchester United later this month, could become the club’s ideal target to replace PFA Player of the Year, Riyad Mahrez, if the Algerian decides to depart Leicester this summer.

The former Bristol City winger has scored 13 goals in 141 games for the Eagles since arriving at Selhurst Park back in 2012.
