Leicester City are reportedly interested in signing Colombia international Jeison Murillo this summer, according to The Sun on Sunday.

The Premier League champions, who face former winners Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on the final day of the 2015/16 season on Sunday afternoon, want the Inter Milan defender to boost the Foxes ahead of their  UEFA Champions League campaign next term.

The 23-year-old, who has 16 international caps for his country, has scored two goals and provided one assist in 35 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A outfit this season.

Murillo, who began his professional career at Italian rivals Udinese, only arrived at the San Siro last February after leaving Granada to sign a five-year contract with Inter.

However the report suggests Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri is hopeful of recruiting Murillo this summer, in a deal that would be worth at least £12m, having played 35 games for the Italian giants in little over 15 months.
