Name: Jamie Vardy
Easy peasy lemon squeezy! No doubt about the Foxes’ best BRIT Awards 2016 winner, it has to be goalmachine Jamie Vardy.
The 29-year-old, who has four international caps for England and is heavily tipped to star for Roy Hodgson’s Three Lions at the 2016 UEFA European Championships this summer, is the Premier League’s top goalscorer so far this season.
Vardy, who started his footballing career at non-league Stocksbridge Park Steels, has scored a remarkable 19 goals in 26 league games for Claudio Ranieri’s table toppers so far this campaign, including five fruitful assists.
The England striker cost Leicester City just £1m from Fleetwood Town back in May 2012, where he has since gone onto net 45 times in 134 first-team appearances for the King Power Stadium outfit.
His outstanding performances this season, alongside the heroics of fellow Leicester teammates Riyad Mahrez and Kasper Schmeichel, have been the backbone of the Foxes’ surprise title challenge this term.
