Name: Jamie Vardy
Despite the continued fine form of Riyad Mahrez, there is only one man that can be the Foxes’ Player of the Month for October, and that is Jamie Vardy.
The England international scored in all four of his side’s fixtures during the month as Claudio Ranieri’s men picked up 10 points from a possible 12.
Their star front man netted once in the win against Norwich, twice in the comeback draw at Southampton, before notching the winning goals in the games against Crystal Palace and West Brom.
That latest goal against the Baggies means the 28-year-old has now scored in eight consecutive Premier League matches – he needs to repeat that feat in the next three games to beat Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record.
