Leicester close on £5m deal for Champions League winner

Leicester City are reportedly closing in on a £5m deal to sign Bayern Munich defender Dante.

The 31-year-old has fallen out of favour with the Bundesliga champions, and now looks set for a move away from the Allianz Arena before the transfer window closes on Tuesday evening.

That has alerted the Foxes, who are hoping to complete an audacious transfer to bring the Brazil international to the King Power Stadium to further boost their in-form team.

Claudio Ranieri’s team have started the 2015-16 Premier League season in fine fashion, and lie in the Champions League positions after the first four matches.
