Leicester City have reportedly set their sights on signing Cameroon international Vincent Aboubakar in January.

The Premier League side, who have emerged as surprise title contenders this campaign and only trail Arsenal by two points at the top of the table, are thought to be considering a bid for the FC Porto striker this month.

The 23-year-old, who has 41 international caps for his country, has scored 11 goals in 23 appearances in all competitions for the Portuguese giants this season.

Aboubakar; who cost Porto just £2m from Lorient in August 2014, is thought to be an admirer of Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri, who wants more attacking options at the King Power Stadium this term to support top goalscorer Jamie Vardy.
