Leicester poised to complete £5m deal for Ghana international

Leicester City are reportedly closing in on the signing of Ghana international Daniel Amartey, according to the Leicester Mercury.

The Premier League side, who sit level on points with Arsenal at the top of the standings, are believed to have agreed a fee of around £5m for the FC Copenhagen defender.

The 21-year-old, who has six international caps for his country, has made 20 appearances in all competitions for the Alka Superligaen outfit this season.

Amartey, who can also operate as a central defensive midfielder, was also thought to be interesting Premier League rivals this campaign.
