Leicester poised to complete transfer of experienced international midfielder

Leicester City midfielder Gokhan Inler is set to return to Serie A in the New Year.

The Foxes ace, who only arrived at the King Power Stadium from Napoli this summer, has failed to hold down a regular first-team spot under boss Claudio Ranieri at the surprise Premier League leaders.

The 31-year-old, who has 83 international caps for Switzerland, has managed just three league appearances this season, plus three outings in the League Cup since arriving in England.

Despite signing a three-year deal with Leicester back in August; the Swiss captain is becoming increasingly frustrated with his lack of first-team action, alerting the services of AC Milan who are hopeful of completing a loan deal for the midfielder during the January transfer window.
