Liverpool are doing battle with Celtic and Fenerbache for the signature of KAS Eupen forward Henry Onyekuru reports the Daily Star.

However, the Belgian side are adamant the youngster will not be sold under any circumstance. The side who sit 13th in the Belgian First Division have snubbed an £850,000 offer from Celtic, but an improved offer from Liverpool could change their stance.

According to a source close to the player’s agent, Jurgen Klopp is an admirer of the Nigerian.

The source told Owngoalnigeria.com: “His agent told me about Liverpool’s interest yesterday when I tried to reignite Fenerbahce’s interest in his services.

“I don’t how long Eupen can hold on to him, he is a very good player.

“He will most likely leave Eupen before the end of this transfer window despite their hard stance.

“They could be forced to cash in on him.”

The 19 year-old who has netted 10 times in 22 games in the Jupiler Pro League was missing from the Eupen side that drew with Standard Liege last week.
