Premier League duo Liverpool and Arsenal are ready to strike when it comes to landing a January deal for Celtic star Moussa Dembele, according to reports from Club Call.

Both sides have been linked with the Frenchman, who arrived at Celtic Park from Fulham this summer, since he began turning heads with a scintillating run of form for Brendan Rodgers’ side.

The 20-year-old has bagged him 17 goals in 30 outings in all competitions so far this term, including a brace in the Scottish champions’ 3-3 Champions League draw with Pep Guardiola’s Man City.

Having arrived on a Bosman from the capital over the summer, the Celts stand to make a hefty profit whenever he leaves, however, the former Liverpool boss now in charge in Glasgow has made it very clear he does not intend to let the youngster leave in January.

However, as per Club Call’s report, both Liverpool and Arsenal are ready to launch bids in the region of £20m and test the resolve of those north of the border.
