Manchester City and Liverpool will renew their rivalry when the two sides meet for a crucial clash on Sunday afternoon.

The Reds were knocked off of top spot by Arsenal on Saturday but will move back into first place with victory on Sunday.

The game could also be the last time that managers Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp face each other, with the Reds boss set to depart his role this summer.

Victory for either side would make them favourites to go on and lift the title, while the Gunners will be watching on and hoping for a draw on Merseyside.

In the meantime, it appears that the two sides could be set to battle it out off the pitch.

According to The Telegraph, both Liverpool and City are interested in Wolves star Pedro Neto.

The 24-year-old has enjoyed a fine season so far, scoring three goals and providing 11 assists in 23 matches across all competitions.

Neto was forced off injured during Wolves’ win against Fulham on Saturday

Having joined Wolves from Italian side Lazio in 2019, the Portuguese has since established himself as a vital player at Molineux, but his current employers could face a battle to keep hold of him beyond this summer.

The report claims that Wolves would demand a fee in excess of £60 million for Neto, who is contracted to the club until the end of the 2026/27 campaign.

Neto was forced off injured on Saturday as Wolves beat Fulham 3-1, and it remains to be seen how serious the player’s problem could be.

It is also claimed that Man City could look to sign West Ham United midfielder Lucas Paqueta this summer, if Bernardo Silva were to depart.

Silva has been heavily linked with a move away from The Etihad over the past few seasons but a move hasn’t yet materialised.
