Liverpool and Man City have been joined by European giants Juventus in the chase for Bundesliga midfielder, Mahmoud Dahoud, according to talkSport.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were repeatedly linked with the Borussia Monchengladbach man over the summer but failed to engineer a deal.

Since then the 20-year-old has garnered further interest from Premier League rivals, Man City and Italian champions, Juventus, with the latter looking to gazump the English pair by securing a deal in January.

The Germany youth international has already notched up 52 appearances for the Bundesliga side since making his debut in 2015.

The midfielder’s current contract, which runs until 2018, reportedly has a release clause within it stipulating that an offer of £8.4m would be enough to force the German outfit to sell their man.

However, the Old Lady are rumoured to be offering something in the region of £13.5m in the winter window to ensure that they land Dahoud ahead of the likes of City and Liverpool.
