Tottenham Hotsur boss Ange Postecoglou will be hoping to see his side improve after the international break.

The Lilywhites surrendered a 2-0 lead to lose 3-2 against Brighton and Hove Albion in their final match before the break, leaving Ange Postecoglou’s side ninth in the Premier League table.

Having failed to qualify for the Champions League in his first season in charge, Postecoglou will be hoping to see his side improve on the fifth-place finish they managed last term.

With that in mind, it appears that the North London outfit are considering bolstering Postecoglou’s squad.

According to GiveMeSport, Tottenham are one of a number of clubs that are showing interest in Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo.

The winger has made a sensational start to the new season for the Cherries, scoring three goals and providing an assist in the league so far.

As well as Spurs, fellow Premier League sides Liverpool and Newcastle United are also said to have taken notice of the player’s impressive start to the new campaign.

Semenyo has started the new season in fantastic form

All three sides are believed to be considering a move for the 24-year-old next year.

Semenyo joined Bournemouth from Championship side Bristol City last year and played 11 times during the second half of the 2022/23 campaign.

He  then enjoyed a relatively impressive first full season on the south coast, making 36 appearances across all competitions last term.

The Ghana international’s versatility could appeal to potential suitors, with Semenyo able to operate on either flank as well as through the centre.

It is suggested that Bournemouth are very reluctant to sell the attacker any time soon and, with his contract not set to expire until 2029, the Cherries will therefore demand a huge fee to entertain the idea of selling him.

Celtic, West Ham United, Southampton and Crystal Palace were all interested in Semenyo prior to his move to Bournemouth, the report claims.
