The excitement and drama of last season’s Serie A title race, which culminated in Antonio Conte’s Inter Milan winning a first title in a decade, has risen a few eyebrows around Europe and the continent’s top clubs are now circling for the division’s best players.

Romelu Lukaku has been heavily linked with both Manchester City and Chelsea, while the latter have also reportedly chased Frederico Chiesa and Lautaro Martinez.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo’s future remains firmly up in the air, with a return to the Premier League not completely off the cards.

AC Milan ‘keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, fresh from winning the player of the tournament award at Euro 2020, has recently departed for French shores with Paris Saint-Germain, and Achraf Hakimi has also followed suit.

However, it appears that the exodus of Serie A’s hottest talents may not be over yet.

According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic could be the next big name to depart.

The forward enjoyed a remarkable season last term, scoring 21 goals in 37 league games.

Vlahovic was the fourth-highest goalscorer in Serie A last season.

The report suggests that both Liverpool and Tottenham are keenly chasing the Serbia international, but his current employers will not go down without fight.

Despite being tied down to a contract until 2023, the club are still trying to persuade their star striker to extend his current deal.

Fiorentina director Joe Barone recently said “Vlahovic is a Fiorentina player, he has two years on his contract and we are working constantly with his agent over an extension.”

Reports suggest that the 21-year-old could be perceived by Liverpool as a potential replacement for Roberto Firmino, while Spurs view him as either a replacement or strike partner for Harry Kane.
