Liverpool boss predicts opposite number Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will pick Anthony Martial in his starting 11 for the first time since August, when speaking to the Liverpool Echo

Fierce rivals Manchester United and Liverpool go head-to-head in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Sunday. Very recent history places the away side as heavy favourites going in to the fixture.

However, Liverpool boss Klopp, believes his opposite number may have a surprise up his sleeve with the inclusion of forward Anthony Martial.

The France international has not played any football for the Red Devils since picking up an injury in August. It was a major blow to Solskjaer’s side as they have struggled in attack since.

Klopp was very honest when speaking ahead of Sunday’s big clash.

Martial started the campaign in red-hot form and was looking more like the exciting teenager United signed back in 2015.

The forward also has history in the fixture, scoring the winner against United’s rivals on his debut at Old Trafford nearly five years ago.

When speaking to the Liverpool Echo, Klopp said:  “I expect Martial, Rashford and James on the pitch. The speed they have and quality all across the pitch.”
