Liverpool are one of just three Premier League sides that are yet to make a signing during the current summer transfer window.

With Arne Slot now in charge following the departure of Jurgen Klopp at the end of last season, the likes of Adrian and Thiago Alcantara have already left Anfield following the expiry of their contracts.

Slot will likely want to add to his squad before the start of the upcoming transfer window, and it appears that a new left-back could be one of his main targets.

According to CaughtOffside, the Reds are interested in Wolves star Rayan Ait-Nouri as they search for a new left-back.

The report claims that the Morocco international has attracted interest from Premier League rivals Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea.

Ait-Nouri has attracted interest from some of the Premier League’s clubs

Ait-Nouri, 23, joined Wolves from French side Angers in 2020, initially on loan before making the switch permanent a year later.

He has since played more than 110 times for the Molineux side, scoring seven goals and providing eight assists across all competitions.

It is claimed that Ait-Nouri is open to the prospect of leaving Wolves if his demands in terms of contract length and salary are made.

Wolves have set an asking price of around £37 million for the full-back, and have no intentions of selling the player for less.

The report also claims that representatives from City, Liverpool and Chelsea have all enquired about the possibility of a deal for Ait-Nouri this summer.
