Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will be hoping to see his side bounce back from their defeat to Arsenal when they host Burnley on Saturday.

The Reds were beaten 3-1 by Premier League title rivals Arsenal last time out, missing out on the chance to move five points clear at the summit.

Reigning champions Manchester City could leapfrog the Reds into top spot if they beat Everton on Saturday, but regardless of City’s result, Liverpool will have the chance to return to the summit with victory over the Clarets.

In the meantime, it has emerged that Liverpool are considering a move for a Premier League full-back.

As per Fichajes via Transfer News Live, the Merseyside club are weighing up a move for Fulham star Antonee Robinson.

The American defender has been in fine form for the Cottagers this season, scoring five goals and providing four assists.

Robinson has been one of Fulham’s best players so far this season

The report claims that Liverpool are considering a move for the 26-year-old as they look to provide competition for left-back Andy Robertson.

Scotland international Robertson has played an integral role for Klopp’s side for several seasons now but has missed much of the current campaign through injury, and those in charge of the Reds are therefore considering a move for Robinson.

Robinson joined Fulham from Football League side Wigan Athletic in 2020, and has since made a total of 136 appearances for the Cottagers across all competitions.

The USA international’s current contract is set to run until 2028, which puts his current employers under very little pressure to sell.

Liverpool’s other option at left-back, Konstantinos Tsimikas, has also missed several weeks of action due to injury after suffering a broken collarbone.
