Liverpool are yet to make a single signing during the current transfer window.

This summer has already been one of significant change at Anfield, though, with Dutchman Arne Slot replacing Jurgen Klopp following the German’s departure after nine years.

The former Feyenoord boss will likely want to bolster his squad in the coming weeks before the start of his first season in charge, but in the meantime it appears that Liverpool could sell one of their stars this summer.

As per Football Insider, the Merseyside club could accept a ‘big’ offer for goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher if one is received this summer.

The report claims that Liverpool will cash in on some of their fringe players this summer in an effort to raise funds and ensure they adhere to the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules.

Kelleher could be on his way out of Anfield this summer

Kelelher, 25, is one of those that could be sold despite the Irishman playing 26 times across all competitions for Klopp’s side last season.

The ‘keeper has been a back-up throughout his time in the senior side at Anfield, but has now played 47 times across all competitions, keeping 15 clean sheets.

Kelleher has been linked with a move away from the club for some time now, however the recent departure of fellow ‘keeper Adrian has made those in charge of Liverpool reluctant to let another player in that position leave, the report suggests.

The Republic of Ireland international’s current contract with the Reds is set to expire at the end of the 2025/26 season, but the club could choose to cash in on him this summer if a suitable offered is received and a replacement can be found.
