Liverpool are considering selling striker Roberto Firmino this summer, according to reports.

As per TuttoJuve via The Sun, the Reds are open to the idea of cashing in on the Brazilian this summer, with Juventus interested in a deal.

The report claims that the Serie A side are looking to replace Paolo Dybala who recently departed for Roma, and are ready to increase their efforts to land Firmino.

The 30-year-old has scored 98 goals and provided 74 assists in 327 games for Liverpool since joining from Hoffenheim in 2015.

He also played crucial roles in Jurgen Klopp’s side’s Champions League and Premier League triumphs in 2019 and 2020 respectively.

Firmino’s time at Anfield could be coming to an end

The Brazil international has fallen down the pecking order slightly at Anfield, though, with the arrivals of Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota over the past two years a huge factor.

New arrival Darin Nunez will also likely be used as Klopp’s first choice striker, which could further decrease Firmino’s minutes during the upcoming season.

The Reds could therefore choose to sell the player this summer, and Juventus appear to be optimistic of agreeing a deal.

It is claimed that Liverpool have already rejected one offer for the player, who they value at between £25-£30 million.
