Liverpool will be hoping to keep the pressure up on Premier League leaders Arsenal when they face Fulham on Sunday afternoon.

The Reds currently sit third in the top flight table, two points behind the Gunners and just a single point behind second-placed Manchester City.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have been in fine form so far this season, losing just one of 13 Premier League games.

Talisman Mohamed Salah has been in remarkable form, scoring ten goals in the league so far to help Klopp’s side climb up the table.

Despite Salah’s importance to Liverpool, the Egypt international continues to be linked with a move away from the club.

According to TEAMTalk, Liverpool could make a sensational move for Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe, but only if Salah were to leave Anfield.

The 31-year-old has established himself as one of the best attacking players in world football in recent years, scoring 198 goals in 323 matches for Liverpool across all competitions.

Mbappe’s contract with PSG expires next summer

During the recent summer transfer window, Salah was the subject of a huge £150 million offer from Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad.

The offer was rejected by Liverpool, but Salah is said to still be a target for Pro League clubs and they could return with an improved offer next summer.

With that in mind, Liverpool could allow Salah to leave in order to finance a move for the Frenchman, 24.

Mbappe has also been one of the world’s most prolific goal scorers for several seasons now, netting a total of 229 goals in 277 games for PSG since joining the club from fellow French side Monaco in 2017.

The France international’s current contract is set to expire at the end of the current season, though, and several clubs will likely be interested in signing him as a free agent.

Despite Liverpool’s potential interest, the report claims that the player is most likely to join Spanish giants Real Madrid.
