West Brom are reportedly ready to offer Mamadou Sakho an escape route out of Liverpool ahead of the forthcoming January transfer window, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The Premier League, who climbed up to 11th in the English top-flight table after defending league champions Leicester City 2-1 at the King Power Stadium at the weekend, are ready to submit a loan offer for the out of favour France international defender.
The 26-year-old, who has 28 international caps for his country, has failed to make a single first-team appearance for The Reds so far this season.
Sakho, who arrived at Anfield back in September 2013 following his reported £18m switch from Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, has appeared twice for the club in the Premier League 2.
The centre-back is free to leave Merseyside having falling out of favour under boss Jurgen Klopp due to injury and disciplinary problems, including being sent home from Liverpool’s pre-season tour of the USA after breaking club rules.
