Liverpool could sell star forward Mohammed Salah next summer if right offer comes in, according to Duncan Castles.

A shocking revelation from Sports Journalist Duncan Castles, when discussing Salah durning the Reach Plc’s Transfer Window podcast.

It would be a shock to the Anfield faithful who have made a cult figure of the Egyptian since his £37million move from AS Roma in 2017.

In that time, the 27-year-old has scored an impressive 74 goals in 110 appearances including the all-important openener in last season’s Champions League victory.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is not afraid to splash the cash.

But with all top talents, sooner or later they get linked with the European elite. And Duncan has suggested Real Madrid, Barcelona or Juventus could come in for Salah next summer:

“There’s also this kind of feeling, informed feeling in football, that Mohamed Salah might not stay at Liverpool for the entirety of his career if he has another season like the last two seasons he’s had and one of the really big names of European football, the absolute elite clubs, if a Barcelona or a Real Madrid, possibly Juventus, come in and say ‘we want to sign this player and we are prepared to go to the huge transfer fee that would be involved to take him’, whether he would push for that move”

It must be said, Salah wasn’t able to hit the incredible heights of his first season, scoring only 27 goals last campaign, compared to his 44-goal haul in his debut season. But that aside, it would be a shock to see the player leave Liverpool.
