Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp added the FA Cup to his illustrious trophy cabinet on Saturday, as the Reds beat Chelsea on penalties after a goalless draw at Wembley.

Cesar Azpilicueta missed his spot kick for the Blues, giving Sadio Mane the chance to secure victory for Liverpool, but his international teammate Edouard Mendy saved from the forward.

It was Mason Mount’s miss that ultimately proved costly for Thomas Tuchel’s side, as Kostas Tsimikas stepped up afterwards to secure the domestic cup double for Klopp’s men.

The Reds remain in with a chance of securing the Premier League title, and will also face Real Madrid in the Champions League final later this month.

Despite his side’s remarkable season, it appears that the German is still intent on adding to his squad this summer.

Liverpool are believed to be keen on both Bellingham brothers

As per The Mirror, Liverpool are leading the race to sign Birmingham City midfielder Jobe Bellingham.

The report states that a number of clubs have been made aware that the 16-year-old could be available this summer.

Bellingham, whose older brother Jude left the Blues for Borussia Dortmund in 2020, made his senior debut against Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup in January, and has since made two Championship appearances.

Jude, 18, has also been heavily linked with Liverpool, but the England international has recently insisted that he will remain in Germany for at least one more year.

Manchester City and Newcastle United are among the other clubs who have also been made aware of the younger Bellingham’s situation, although Birmingham remain hopeful of persuading the teenager to stay put.

The youngster’s versatility is regarded by many as one of his best attributes, having played in a number of attacking roles including on both wings and up front.
