Liverpool will hope to keep up their Premier League title charge when they face Crystal Palace on Sunday.

The Reds currently occupy second place in the top flight table, although they are level on points with leaders Arsenal and only trail the Gunners on goal difference.

Victory over the Eagles will likely be crucial if the Reds are to remain in the title race, and manager Jurgen Klopp will be desperate to do so as he enters the final weeks of his time in charge at Anfield.

The German will leave his role at the end of the current season, ending a successful spell on Merseyside.

In the meantime, it appears that a player could be following Klopp out of Anfield this summer.

According to Turkish outlet Sabah via Anfield Watch, centre-back Joel Matip has been offered to Turkish side Fenerbahce.

It is claimed that the Super Lig outfit are interested in signing Matip as a free agent this summer, but have reservations about his fitness.

The defender is currently sidelined after suffering an ACL tear in December, and that could cause problems when he undergoes a medical ahead of the move.

Matip, 32, is set to be out of contract this summer and the report claims that Liverpool do not intend to offer him an extension, effectively meaning that he has already played his final game for the club.

The Cameroon international joined the Reds from German side Schalke back in 2016 and has since made more than 200 appearances for the Merseyside club across all competitions.

During his time in England, the central defender has won no fewer than seven trophies, including the Champions League and Premier League.
