Liverpool look likely to overhaul their squad this summer following what has already been a disappointing season for the club.

Jurgen Klopp’s side reached the finals of the Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup last season and also finished a point behind Premier League winners Manchester City, but this season has been far less successful.

The Reds have already been knocked out of all three cup competitions and are in a battle to finish in the top four of the league.

A number of players, including Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, are expected to leave Anfield when their contracts expire this summer, but it appears that another player could be looking for an exit.

As per Football Insider, The Reds expect goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher to ask for a move away from the club at the end of the season.

The Irishman is reportedly keen to secure regular first team football, something that he hasn’t yet achieved on Merseyside.

Kelleher is reportedly frustrated at his lack of playing time

Kelleher, 24, made his debut for The Reds in 2020 and has now made 20 appearances for the club, although only four of those have been in the Premier League.

Last term, the Ireland international kept a clean sheet as Liverpool defeated Chelsea on penalties in the Carabao Cup final.

This term, Kelleher has made one FA Cup and appearance and two League Cup appearances, but it appears that he is growing frustrated with his situation.

The Irishman is contracted to his current club until 2026, which puts The Reds under very little pressure to sell him this summer.

Fellow ‘keeper Adrian is also expected to leave Anfield this summer when his contract expires, which could leave Klopp short of options in the goalkeeping department.

First choice ‘keeper Alisson remains untouchable as the club’s number one, which is likely part of the reason why Kelleher is considering his future.
