Liverpool’s Premier League title chase was dealt another huge blow as they were held to a 2-2 draw by West Ham United on Saturday.

The Reds had been defeated by both Crystal Palace and Everton in the past two weeks, and things went from bad to worse when Jarrod Bowen put the Hammers ahead.

Liverpool drew level courtesy of Andy Robertson’s goal, before a Tomas Soucek own goal put the visitors in front at The London Stadium.

Michail Antonio’s late header once again drew the sides level, and Jurgen Klopp’s side were unable to find a winner.

The Reds now sit five points behind league leaders Arsenal, although second-placed Manchester City have a game-in-hand.

Towards the end of the match, Klopp was pictured arguing with talisman Mohamed Salah, and it appears that the Egyptian’s future is once again in doubt.

Salah looks increasingly likely to depart Anfield this summer

As per Football Insider, the Merseyside club are expecting huge offers for Salah during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Last year the forward was the subject of a £150 million offer from Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad, and Pro League clubs are once again expected to make attempts to sign the 31-year-old.

The report claims that bids for the attacker are expected to start at around £100 million and could rise to £150 million, despite the player’s contract having just over 12 months remaining on it.

It is claimed that the fees offered for Salah are unlikely to reach £200 million, in part due to his contract situation.

Salah joined the Reds from Italian side Roma in 2017 and has since established himself as one of the best players in world football.

In total he has scored 210 goals and provided 88 assists in 346 games for Liverpool across all competitions.

He has won eight trophies during his time on Merseyside, including the Premier League and Champions League.
