Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are flying high after their impressive start to the season was enhanced with a huge 5-0 headline making win at Manchester United.

Mohamed Salah, who netted a hat-trick, looks to be in the form of his life, while fellow forwards Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Diogo Jota are also chipping in with goals on a regular basis.

But despite having scored a Premier League high 27 goals in nine matches this term, the Reds are thought to be keen on adding to their striking ranks.

Sky Germany report that the Anfield club have ‘expressed interest’ in bringing RB Salzburg starlet Karim Adeyemi to Merseyside.

At just 19-years of age, Adeyemi has burst onto the scene with the Austrian Bundesliga side last term, scoring nine times in 38 matches.

Klopp’s free-scoring Liverpool sit second in the Premier League.

The Munich born talent has since boosted his reputation by netting 12 in 17 this term, including three in the Champions League, and scoring on his senior international debut for Germany against Armenia in September.

It’s claimed that Liverpool’s interest in Adeyemi is due to Klopp’s concerns over losing Salah and Mane to the Africa Cup of Nations in January as they get set to represent Egypt and Senegal.

With stats and age on his side, the exciting young forward could be a great option for the Reds to have, if they were to transform their reported interest into a deal.
