Liverpool eye £11m deal for Germany’s teenage sensation

Liverpool are reportedly set to make a move for Germany teenage sensation Leroy Sane in the January transfer window.

The Premier League outfit, who defeated surprise league leaders Leicester City 1-0 at Anfield on Boxing Day, have been scouting the highly-rated Schalke winger for the majority of the 2015-16 campaign.

The 19-year-old, who made his senior international debut for the World Cup winners against France last month, has scored five and assisted five goals in 24 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga side so far this season.

With English top-flight rivals Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham reportedly also interested in Sane’s services in the New Year, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is understood to be considering lodging an £11m bid to beat the youngster’s other potential suitors.
