Liverpool eye £11m summer raid for UEFA Euro 2016 starlet

Liverpool are reportedly exploring the possibility of signing Poland international Piotr Zielinski, according to the Mirror.

The Premier League side, who progressed to the League Cup final in midweek, are hopeful of sealing a deal for the Udinese midfielder this summer.

The 21-year-old, who has 11 international caps for his country, has scored two goals in 20 appearances in all competitions whilst on loan at fellow Serie A outfit Empoli this season.

Zielinski, who is being targeted by Jurgen Klopp’s Reds in a deal worth around £11m come the end of the current campaign, is thought to favour a move after this summer’s UEFA European Championships with Poland.
