Liverpool favourites to sign Croatia prodigy

Liverpool have reportedly emerged as favourites to land Croatia international Marko Rog.

The Premier League side are said to be interested in the 20-year-old Dinamo Zagreb star, with the Reds willing to splash out £8m for the attacking midfielder in the January transfer window.

Rog, who made his international debut against Argentina last November, has scored twice in 18 games in all competitions for the Croatian outfit so far this season.

The youngster starred in Zagreb’s surprise 2-1 Champions League win over Premier League rivals Arsenal earlier this month.
