Liverpool can extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table with victory over Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon.

The Reds currently sit two points clear of reigning champions Manchester City, but a win over the Cherries on Sunday would see Jurgen Klopp’s side extend their advantage to five points.

Jurgen Klopp will be keen to see his side impress on the south coast, with a run of important matches coming up in the new few weeks.

In the meantime, it appears that the Merseyside club could lose one of their fringe players this summer.

As per Football Insider, goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher is ready to leave the club this summer in search of regular first team football.

The Irishman currently plays second fiddle to first choice ‘keeper Alisson, with his only two Premier League appearances so far this season coming when the Brazilian was absent due to injury.

Kelleher is keen to depart Anfield this summer

Kelleher, 25, joined Liverpool’s youth setup as a teenager and has since made a total of 32 appearances for the Reds across all competitions, although the vast majority of these have been in the domestic cups.

Having only played seven times in the league, the report claims that Kelleher is keen to depart Anfield but Liverpool are unwilling to let him do so this month.

Scottish champions Celtic are said to be interested in the Ireland international, who has been capped ten times by his country at senior level.

Celtic’s current first choice ‘keeper, former Manchester City and England man Joe Hart, is set to be out of contract at the end of the current season.

The player’s current contract with Liverpool is set to run until 2026, but it remains to be seen whether or not the club will allow him to depart during the upcoming summer window.
