West Ham United recorded a second straight Premier League victory on Sunday by beating Fulham 3-1 at The London Stadium.

David Moyes’ side came out on top in the London derby with goals from Jarrod Bowen, Gianluca Scamacca and Michail Antonio earning The Hammers three points, despite the visitors having taken an early lead through Andreas Pereira.

West Ham are now up to 13th in the table, while The Cottagers sit ninth.

Despite being in good form, it appears that Moyes may face a battle to keep hold of one of his most important assets.

Declan Rice has established himself as one of the Premier League best midfielders over the past few seasons, and the England international has been linked with several clubs including Chelsea being linked with a move for the player.

Now, Liverpool have become the latest club to be credited with an interest in Rice.

As reported by Football Insider, The Reds are considering making a move for the England international.

Rice is wanted by Liverpool

Liverpool have been heavily linked with Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham over the past few months, but they are facing an increasingly difficult task in landing the player as the number of interested clubs continues to rise.

With that in mind, The Reds could move for Rice, 23, who is enjoying another good season so far in east London.

Klopp is said to be a keen admirer of the player and believes that he would be the perfect fit for his side.

Liverpool chased several midfield targets during the recent transfer window but ultimately ended up signing Arthur Melo on loan from Juventus.

It is also claimed that Klopp was interested in the player over the summer but the club’s owners were unwilling to sanction a big money move.

Last summer, West Ham slapped a £100 million price tag on the midfielder, but Moyes claimed in April that ‘£150 million would be a minimum’.

Rice has made more than 200 appearances for The Hammers, and became club captain following the departure of Mark Noble over the summer.
