Liverpool kept alive their slim Premier League title hopes by beating Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

Goals from Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson, Cody Gakpo and Harvey Elliot put the Reds 4-0 up at Anfield, before late goals from Richarlison and Son Heung-Min set up a nervy finale for the hosts.

Liverpool held on to pick up all three points, though, making it mathematically possible that they could still win the Premier League title this term.

With manager Jurgen Klopp set to depart the club this summer, those in charge of the Reds’ recruitment are working hard to identify possible transfer targets.

According to Football Insider, the Merseyside club are in the race to sign Brest full-back Bradley Locko.

Locko has attracted interest from clubs in the Premier League

The left-back has been in fine form for the French side so far this season, but the report suggests that his impressive displays have attracted interest from both Liverpool and fellow Premier League sides Aston Villa and West Ham United.

Locko, 22, joined Brest from fellow Ligue 1 side Stade Reims last summer, having spent the previous six months on loan at the club.

In total he has made 41 appearances for his current club across all competitions, including starting all 32 of their Ligue 1 matches so far this term.

It is claimed that the three Premier League clubs all believe that Locko has ‘huge potential’, and he could therefore be the subject of offers when the transfer window reopens this summer.

Liverpool are said to be in the market for a new left-back, with current first choice Robertson having struggled with several injuries in recent months.

The France Under-23 international is contracted to Brest until the end of the 2026/27 season.
