All things considered, Liverpool had a fairly quiet transfer window, free of Deadline Day debacles and last minute panic buys. Manager, Jurgen Klopp got his business done early on and then shut up shop in terms of incoming deals at Anfield.
The annual venture to Southampton went without fault once again, this time Senegalese winger, Saido Mane was brought back as a souvenir for the fans, costing the Reds around £36m.
As well as the man from St Mary’s, Georginio Wijnaldum, Joel Matip, Ragnar Klaven and Loris Klarius all joined the ranks under the German.
The biggest thorn in the side of the Merseyside club this summer has been striker, Mario Balotelli, who the club finally found a new home for in Ligue 1, as he joined Nice on a free transfer.
The deal for the outcast Italian was the main talking point amongst Reds fans on Deadline Day, and even club legend, Jamie Carragher had a pop at the former Man City man:
Balotelli on a free is still paying over the odds by Nice.

Whilst one fan was just delighted to see the back of him:
Balotelli to Liverpool was the biggest transfer mistake in #LFC history. He's gone now, onwards and upwards! We've saved a year of his wages

Some fans, despite being happy with the signings Klopp has made, are still calling for more:
i am happy with the signings though but a LB and possible another winger or foward would of been nice #LFC

Whilst others are growing increasingly worried for the season ahead:
I'm honestly not very happy with Liverpool's window, I think we made some very good signings but we didn't improve the areas we needed most

Liverpool – C
Not inspired by any of Liverpool's signings. Eclipsed by most of the big clubs. #LFC— AJP (@AJPFootball) September 1, 2016
Every time we make a lot of signings, we face a disappointing campaign! #LFC

One Red, however, was keen to back his manager and get back to the football, kudos to you, sir:
