Liverpool are reportedly weighing up a bid for Israel international starlet Manor Solomon, according to Tuttosport.

The Premier League side, who were hammered 4-1 by Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, have been linked with the highly-rated Maccabi Petah Tikva midfielder ahead of the forthcoming January transfer window.

The 18-year-old, who has already been called up to the senior Israel national side, has scored two goals and provided two assists in seven appearances for the Ligat ha’Al outfit so far this season.

Solomon, who is known as the “Jewel of Israel”, is also said to be attracting interest from defending Serie A champions Juventus.

Klopp’s Liverpool lie ninth in the Premier League standings, already 12 points adrift of leaders Manchester City.

But the report suggests Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is already preparing a £4.5m swoop for the teenage talent, who has netted four times in 33 games overall for Maccabi Petah Tikva.

He made his first-team debut against Hapoel Haifa in November 2016, before scoring his first senior goal versus Bnei Yehuda back in January.
