Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing England international goalkeeper Joe Hart next summer, according to the Mirror.

The Premier League side, who defeated Merseyside rivals Everton 1-0 at Goodison Park on Monday night, are keeping close tabs on the Manchester City shot stopper, having been shipped out on loan to Serie A outfit Torino for the 2016-17 campaign.

The 29-year-old, who has 68 international caps for the Three Lions, has kept three clean sheets in 15 appearances in all competitions for the Italian club so far this season, with Torino currently sitting ninth in the league table.

Hart, who joined Premier League rivals City back in 2006 following his move from League One Shrewsbury Town, is wanted by Reds boss Jurgen Klopp at Anfield next term as his new number one goalkeeper – with Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet failing to full convince the German.

However, Torino have been thoroughly impressed with the Englishman’s performances this campaign and are tipped to make an offer to make his loan spell permanent next year.
