Liverpool are reportedly set to discuss the sale of striker Jerome Sinclair on Sunday, according to the Daily Star on Sunday.

The Premier League side, who currently sit eighth in the English top-flight standings following their most recent 3-1 defeat to Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium, are due to negotiate a deal to offload the former England Under-17 international to today’s opponents Watford.

The 19-year-old, whose contract at Anfield expires this summer, has scored one goal in five first-team appearances for the Reds – netting in Jurgen Klopp’s side’s FA Cup third round encounter at League Two Exeter City back in January.

Sinclair, who is valued at around £5m by Liverpool, has been at Anfield since he was just 14-years-old after leaving fellow Premier League rivals West Brom.

Reds’ chiefs will use today’s top-flight clash between the two clubs to try and thrash out a deal for the forward, attempting to agree a fee between the respective representatives to avoid the use of going to a tribunal.
