Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has a pre-contract agreement in place to sign RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner, according to El Desmarque.
The news is sure to excite Liverpool fans, with Werner highly regarded as one of the hottest properties in Europe with a whole host of top clubs interested in signing the goalscorer.
Barcelona, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester United have all been linked with the Germany international, but the Spanish newspaper have reported Liverpool will be the one to sign the player.
The transfer is set to take place in the summer, where the Premier League table-toppers have a reported £170million to spend, to further enhance their elite squad.
Werner himself has been in red-hot form this season scoring a sensational 25 goals in just 26 games for the side challenging for the Bundesliga title.
