Liverpool benefit from a weekend off before facing French champions Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League last 16 on Wednesday night.

The Reds currently sit 13 points clear at the top of the Premier League table, but they don’t feature in this weekend’s FA Cup fourth weekend programme as they were knocked out by Championship side Plymouth Argyle in the last round.

With a Carabao Cup final against Newcastle United ahead and the Champions League last 16 tie against PSG to contend with, Slot has plenty to think about.

Away from the action, though, it appears that the Merseyside club are eyeing a move for a Premier League full-back.

According to TBR Football, the Reds’ scouts have identified Fulham left-back Antonee Robinson as a potential target for this summer’s transfer window.

Robinson has attracted interest from Liverpool

The report suggests that Liverpool could be busy during this summer’s window, having been relatively quiet during the last two windows.

It is claimed that Robinson is regarded as the Reds’ first choice target at left-back, as they search for a long-term replacement for Andy Robertson.

Robinson, 27, joined the Cottagers from Football League side Wigan Athletic in 2020 and has since played 178 times for the West London side across all competitions.

He has made 27 appearances so far this season, providing ten assists in the Premier League to help Marco Silva’s side force their way into contention for European qualification next term.

The US international has been in particularly good form over the past 18 months, and his impressive displays have attracted interest from several clubs including Liverpool.

Robinson is under contract with the Reds until the end of the 2027/28 campaign, but Liverpool could attempt to lure the player away from the capital this summer.

The report also claims that second-choice left-back Kostas Tsimikas is likely to depart Anfield this summer.
