Liverpool are reportedly eyeing a £25m summer move for England international Jamie Vardy, according to the Daily Star.
The Premier League side, who face Manchester United this afternoon, are admirers of the Leicester City striker who set a new record of scoring in 11 consecutive league games earlier this term.
The 29-year-old, who has four international caps for the Three Lions, is the Premier League’s joint top goalscorer this season with 15 goals in 22 appearances for the Foxes.
Vardy, who cost Leicester a reported £1m back in May 2012 from Fleetwood Town, is also said to be interesting defending league champions Chelsea.
With summer speculation mounting, it is understood that Foxes manager Claudio Ranieri is keen on offering star striker Vardy a new contract at the King Power Stadium to double his current £45,000-a-week wages.
